Pursuant to adoption of Unifor Academy calendar in the Union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir/ U.T of Ladakh and sequel to the approval of the authorities it is hereby circulated for information of all the heads of the Private affiliated High and Higher Secondary schools of Jammu Division whose affiliation with J&K BOSE is expiring in November, 2023 and March, 2024 respectively that they have to apply for Renewal/ Extension of Affiliation, through online mode on the Joint portal of Affiliation/ Recognition as per the following schedule:

It has been learnt that the government will hold the annual exam in plan areas in mid-March while the exam in snow bound areas will be held in mid-April. SAKIB School Edu Deptt to make all institutions ‘schools disabled friendly’ by 2024 Sakib Srinagar, Aug 16 (KNO): Following the directives of National Human Rights Commission (NHRC), School Education Department Wednesday said that it will make all ‘schools disabled friendly’ by 2024 and will ensure all provisions for specially abled students. According to the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), Director of School Education Kashmir while referring to the directives of NHRC asked all Chief Education Officers (CEOs) of the region to implement Section 45 of Rights of persons with disabilities Act.
