Schools falling within municipality limits to function from 10am to 3pm

Srinagar, 31 Oct (KB): Amid cold wave conditions in Kashmir Valley, Directorate of School Education Kashmir

According t an official order issued by Directorate of School Education Kashmir, reads, The classwork in respect of both Government as well as recognised Private Schools of Kashmir Division w.e.f 01.11.2022, Schools falling within Srinagar Municipal limits  shall function From 10.am to 3.00 pm, it reads.

Whileas, Schools falling outside Municipal limits of Srinagar District and other areas of Kashmir Province shall function From 10:30 am to 3:30 pm, it reads

The order/instructions shall be adhered to strictly by all the concerned institutions. Any deviation in this regard shall be viewed seriously, reads an order (Kashmir Bulletin --- KB)

SAKIB School Edu Deptt to make all institutions ‘schools disabled friendly’ by 2024 Sakib Srinagar, Aug 16 (KNO): Following the directives of National Human Rights Commission (NHRC), School Education Department Wednesday said that it will make all ‘schools disabled friendly’ by 2024 and will ensure all provisions for specially abled students. According to the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), Director of School Education Kashmir while referring to the directives of NHRC asked all Chief Education Officers (CEOs) of the region to implement Section 45 of Rights of persons with disabilities Act.
