National Means Cum Merit Scholarship Scheme (NMMSS)- inviting applications from
Class-VIlI (8th) Students

JKBOSE National Means cum Merit Scholarship Scheme: It is notified for the information of the studcnts, who have passed class VIl with 55% marks (50% for SC/ST Students) and are currently on rolls in class VIl in the UT of J&K and UT of Ladakh., that 1091 scholarships under the NMMSS are available. The amount of scholarship is RS 12000 per annum and duration of scholarship is 4 Years ie. (From Class IX to Class XI).  👇

SAKIB School Edu Deptt to make all institutions ‘schools disabled friendly’ by 2024 Sakib Srinagar, Aug 16 (KNO): Following the directives of National Human Rights Commission (NHRC), School Education Department Wednesday said that it will make all ‘schools disabled friendly’ by 2024 and will ensure all provisions for specially abled students. According to the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), Director of School Education Kashmir while referring to the directives of NHRC asked all Chief Education Officers (CEOs) of the region to implement Section 45 of Rights of persons with disabilities Act.
